Due to the fact that many of our players are heading to Maryland tonight or very early in the morning, we have decided to cancel this evening’s practice. Please make sure your tournament waiver has been completed.

Star Spangled Banner This Weekend

One of the region’s favorite lacrosse tournament takes place this weekend in Baldwinsville, NY.

Tournament schedules, field locations, and directions can be found at the Star Spangled Banner Tournament Website . There will be two white pop up tents where Albany Elite players and families can store their belongings, escape the heat, and socialize. We look forward to a great weekend!

Change in Practice Location for 6/29 and 7/1

Due to a conflict with the fields in Niskayuna, practices on June 29 and July 1 will be held at Nott Road Park in Guilderland. The address for Nott Road park is 6073 Nott Road, Guilderland, NY.

2013s Win Oswego

Congratulations to the 2013 team on winning the Oswego tournament this past weekend. They won their first three qualifying games, then the semifinals & after being tied at half-time in championship, they had a huge 2nd half to win convincingly.

Congratulations to Elite Alums/Coaches Best and Branchini

Albany Elite alums and current coaches, Kayla Best and Nikki Branchini, received some great news this week. Best, a senior midfielder at UAlbany will play in the IWLCA All-Star game in Downington, PA on June 12. Best is second on the UAlbany all-time scoring list with 188 points and third in goals with 155.

Branchini, a junior at UAlbany was selected to the IWLCA All-American third team. In addition, she was named Division 1 Defender of the Year and All-American by Womenslacrosse.com.

We are in the process of finalizing our coaching roster for the summer. It’s a great mix of high school coaches and both current and former college players. You can find out more by visiting the Coaches page.

Registration for Summer Camp is Underway

Albany Elite will be hosting two camps this summer. The Camps will cover from basic fundalmentals of catching, throwing, groundballs, and shooting to higher level of strategy and game play for the older campers.

Games always have a lacrosse education purpose to them and the girls will have daily goals that they are working toward achieving for the end of that day. Days will be split into an Attack focused, defense focused, and transition focused. Coaching will be provided by Local High School Coaches and current collegiate players.

Grades 4-11

Dates: August 2,3,4,5
Location Nott Road Park, Guilderland
Cost $150

Summer Travel Team

Summer lacrosse travel program has been finalized and we have some of the best Albany Elite rosters in the program’s history. Our high school teams have some of the top players in Section II .
